What counts as a scan?
Any time a phone or device opens the URL behind your QR code. Repeat scans from the same device within an hour are counted once so you do not pay for someone double-checking the link.
Can I change the URL after I print the QR code?
Yes. Every dynamic QR code on QRLabs points at a short link we control. Update the destination from your dashboard and the printed code keeps working. No reprint, no re-stickering.
What happens if I downgrade or cancel?
Your codes keep redirecting on the Free tier (up to 1 code). Anything above your new limit is paused, not deleted, so you can resume them by upgrading again. Analytics history stays for 30 days on Free, 12 months on Pro, forever on Business.
Do you track or sell my visitors’ data?
No. We collect approximate country, device type, and timestamp so you can read the dashboard. No precise location, no personal identifiers, nothing sold or shared. GDPR and CCPA aligned.
Is there a Pro trial?
Yes. Every paid plan has a 14-day money-back guarantee. If it does not earn its keep, email us and we refund, no questions.
Do QR codes expire?
Active accounts: never. Codes on cancelled accounts continue to redirect for 30 days, then stop. We notify you twice before that happens so nothing breaks on a wall somewhere.
Can I use my own domain for the QR links?
Yes, on Business. Bring your own subdomain (links.yourbrand.com) and codes resolve through it. Pro uses the shared qrl.bs short domain.
